Vyzakia Beach

The beach Vyzakia is located in the vicinity of Nissi beach in Protaras of the Famagusta district in Cyprus and can be reached by walking along a coastal path for a few hundred meters, while it is also accessible by car from the homonymous street of the main avenue of the region.

The name of the beach Vyzakia suggests the prior existence of stones (vyzakes) in the area, but in recent years the municipal authorities have turned this shore to one more natural gem of the island.

Unknown even to the many visitors to the area, the small sandy beach Vyzakia is hidden from view by acacia trees that give the beach a sense of privacy. It is 80 meters long and 25 meters wide, ideal for relaxing holidays and endless underwater snorkeling. Because of the shallow waters it is considered as most appropriate for children. Around the coast more hidden coves are formed, where many people choose to enjoy the sun on the rocks or engage in fishing.

The beach Vyzakia is semi-organized and offers relatively few sun loungers, umbrellas and an ecological toilet, while at a short distance there are additional accommodation facilities with outdoor spa and dining facilities that also provide showers. In addition, nearby you will also find a water sports center.
