Softades Beach
Softades beach can be found at the coastal front of Mazotos village in the Larnaca region of Cyprus, and is located about 18 kilometers west of Larnaca, and approximately 50 kilometers from Limassol and Nicosia.
Softades beach is located to the east of the beach Mazotos and consists of a long coastline with sand and large pebbles. Also known as beach Petountas due to its being exposed to winds (petao means flying in Greek), the beach is considered a paradise for kite surfing, and there are many who prefer it during both winter and summer in order to undertake various water sports, despite the few rocks that exist in some of its parts.
Also near the beach Softades the visitors can make an extra stop to cool off in the sea of Bouzi beach, named after the homonymous river, which flows a few hundred meters away from the beach.
