Sculpture Park
The Sculpture Park is situated at the exit of the city of Agia Napa with the direction of Cavo Greco cape in the Famagusta province of Cyprus.
Being one of the most famous cultural attractions of Agia Napa, Sculpture Park is located within a rocky area of approximately 20,000 square meters and is considered one of the first of its kind and offers locals and tourists a breath of culture in a quiet corner of the city with panoramic views of the beaches of the area.
Sculpture Park’s visionary and creator is Kikis Konstantinos, who became a refugee after the 1974 invasion, and who now lives permanently in Agia Napa. He envisioned to make his famous city not only a favorite destination for wild parties, but also to make it into a small culture cradle.
So, for two years, and after the planting of some 1500 Cypriot trees and plants, which are renewed from now on, as well as a series of sculpture symposia, organized annually and involving artists from all over the world, it was decided together with the competent municipal authorities who will create their sculptures in the Sculpture Park – as the site is known since May 2014 to the general public. More specifically, today the visitor can admire works by Ukrainian artists who created “Pegasus” and "Centaurus", the work “Ikesia-Zorbas the Greek” by Cypriot sculptor Maria Georgiou and many others, all if them providing the landscape with a special aura.
