Petra tou Androgynou Waterfall
The Petra tou Androgynou waterfall is located in the village Kakopetria of Nicosia province in Cyprus and is one of the natural attractions of the settlement.
One of the must see attractions of this magical region of Troodos, the Petra tou Androgynou Waterfall is on the meeting point of the rivers Garillis and Karkotis which form the river Klarios and a small waterfall in the center of the old settlement. The water flowing in an channel for a few hundred meters, “jumps” from a height into the riverbed, forming a small pond.
The Petra tou Androgynou waterfall is home to ducks and hundreds of birds while nearby there is an old, small bridge making this a perfect spot for hiking, photographing or just for sitting and admiring the natural beauty.
