Pavilion of the Sleeping Eros
The Pavilion of the Sleeping Eros is located in the heart of Pano Pafos and specifically in Kostis Palamas Square.
Very close to the Pillar of October 28 in the homonymous square, but also to the Municipal Garden and the Town Hall of Paphos, the Pavilion of the Sleeping Eros is one of the beautiful and many cultural attractions that the visitor will see, while walking around the historical center with the many bars, cafes, ouzeries and taverns that surround it.
The monument is an monopole Ionic building with eight columns, covered with a shield-type dome and located in the middle of a small circular lake.
The Kostis Palamas Square with the Pavilion of the Sleeping Eros, like the 28th October square with the column of the same name, were formed in the late 1940s.
