Municipal Polis beach
Municipal Polis (Hrisohous) beach is located east of the port of Latchi in the Paphos district, and is approximately two kilometers northwest of the center of Polis.
In fact, the Municipal Polis beach is part of a vast coastline that begins in the Akamas peninsula and ends in the region of Pomos. This beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, begins from the port of Latchi and communicates in the west with Dasoudi Polis (Hrisohous) beach. It is 450 meters long and 40 meters wide, sandy with fine pebbles, while several breakwaters protect it from southeastern winds. Into its western part a stream flows.
Being one of the two most organized beaches of the region (along with the Kataskinotikou Horou beach of Polis), the Municipal Polis beach offers bathers sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, public toilets, a ramp for the disabled, as well as two lifeguards supervising the beach during summer. In the region you will also find water sports facilities, as well as many taverns, accommodation and entertainment venues.
Municipal Polis beach is easily accessible by all means of transportation, while nearby you can embark on short cruises to Akamas and the exotic shores of Cyprus, such as the Blue Lagoon Paphos and the beach Fontana
