Municipal Baths Beach

The Municipal Baths beach extends beneath the heart of the tourist area of Paphos (Kato Paphos) in Cyprus, east of the Castle of Paphos and right before Alikes beach, about 70 km from Limassol and 150 kilometers from Nicosia.

For those who want a quick swim in the deep, clear, and awarded with the Blue Flag sea, or want to enjoy an uninterrupted view of the medieval fortress of the city, the small – with a length of almost 200 m – rocky beach Municipal Baths is regarded as the best choice, hence it is one of the favorite beaches of the locals.

This municipal beach extends beneath a modern platform, providing ladders to facilitate bathers, as well as some facilities for the disabled guests of the beach (lift). There one can find free Wi- Fi, sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, public toilets and changing rooms, and several benches to rest while enjoying the view of the area. During the summer period (April-October) the beach Municipal Baths has lifeguards on duty, while the surrounding area offers facilities for water sports. In addition, there are several platforms for fishing aficionados, and within walking distance, many recreation and accommodation facilities, as well as parking spaces.

Finally, the beach Municipal Baths is crossed by the coastal path that starts from the Geroskipou beach, passes through the Archaeological Park of Kato Paphos and ends at the Medieval Castle of the city.
