Marina of Limassol
The Marina of Limassol is one of the most impressive and modern cultural attractions in Cyprus and is located in the homonymous city, next to its old harbor.
Here, a breath away from the historic center and the picturesque narrow streets around the Castle of Limassol, beats the heart of the city and its most modern and sophisticated aspect is encountered. The center of action for tycoons, but also a meeting place for locals (young and old) who enjoy the beachfront promenade before drinking coffee or enjoying their food against the backdrop of the floating palaces coming from all parts of the world, Marina of Limassol is the post card image of a modern metropolis, an enviable project even for the most cosmopolitan destinations.
This unique and enormous space with a total area of 250,000 square meters, with modern architectural design and fully equipped, was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades, in June 2014 and includes 211 apartments and 74 luxurious permanent residences on artificial islands with their own berths and heliports, over 40 clothing and footwear stores, perfume store, pharmacy, goldsmith shop, optics shop, and parking for 750 vehicles. The privileged inhabitants who chose to live literally on the sea come from Russia, Cyprus, Japan, Venezuela and the Arab countries.
There is also a spa and a gym, as well as many restaurants and cafés of large chains that are filled by the residents of Limassol during the weekends.
Marina of Limassol, the first on the island of Aphrodite with the possibility of docking superyachts and the only project in the Mediterranean that has berths right in front of private villas, allows 650 vessels of between 8 and 110 meters long to enjoy its high-quality services, with electric power, water, internet, fuel, security, bindings, while having a maintenance and repair space at the anchorage, as well as facilities for refueling and waste processing.
