Loukos tou Mandi Beach
The Loukos tou Mandi Beach is situated immediately after Katsarka beach and is within walking distance from the fishing port of Ayia Napa and it can be reached in two ways: by car, making a trip of about four kilometers from the center of Ayia Napa or along the hiking trail that starts from the port of the world famous city.
Awarded with the Blue Flag, Loukos tou Mandi Beach is considered as one of the smaller organized beaches of the Famagusta region in Cyprus. Its length is 150 meters and width 25 meters and it has a few dozen sun loungers, so many visitors bring along their own sea side paraphernalia.
On Loukos tou Mandi Beach visitors will find only a few places with sand, making it suitable for underwater explorations, as well as a ladder to assist access to the water. During the summer months there is a lifeguard on duty, and from early September to October you will be greeted by the rare and beautiful lilies of the sea – with several nature lovers visiting the beach for this reason only.
The luxurious villas, together with an outdoor area with fitness equipment for those tourists wishing to exercise after or before swimming in the sea, make Loukos tou Mandi Beach resemble a cosmopolitan destination. In addition, shortly before this beach one can find a smaller shore, as well as many quiet coves.
Loukos tou Mandi Beach is easily accessible by all means of transportation. Next to it there is also the water park of the region.
