Lombardi Beach
The beach Lombardi can be found 10 km away from Ayia Napa in the Famagusta district in Cyprus. It is actually a rocky cove, which connects the main coastal area of Protaras with the Cape Cavo Greco.
By turning towards the square Tassos Isaac, the visitor approaches the Lombardi beach or Cavo Maris, which is an amphitheatrical bay, forming two rocky promontories against the backdrop of palm trees, perched right below a large hotel complex. The beach is 80 meters long and 30 meters wide and its waters have been awarded with the Blue Flag. With many rocks for isolation, it is an ideal location for fishing and underwater exploration. Indeed, 200 meters from the coast statues have been placed at a depth of about 10 meters for the professional divers.
Lombardi Beach is fully organized with lifeguards, sun beds, umbrellas, toilets, and access for the disabled. It also has a net for beach volley (behind the beach), as well as a water sports center, and a kiosk offering refreshments and food snacks. Lombardi beach is a favorite destination for families and nature lovers, as it is connected by a coastal path, with a length of almost two kilometers, to other neighboring beaches of the island.
