Kremmiotis Waterfall
The Kremmiotis waterfall is one of the less known natural attractions of Paphos province and is located just outside the Kritou Terra village.
A spot with a lot of water mainly during winter, the Kremmiotis waterfall is located at the northeastern part of the community, in an idyllic, green landscape with lavish nature and the turquoise waters of the lake. Kremmiotis river is one of the four that pass through the village, a place where birds come to rest and drink water and it is 1 kilometer away from the first, small waterfall.
Once the flow of the Kremmiotis river was strong all year and two watermills were built there in order to help the locals with the grinding of wheat and barley.
The Kremmiotis waterfall is easily accessible by car from the main square of the village which leads to the waterfall in 10 minutes. It is a relatively smooth concrete road, while before the road there is an organized excursion area with a shed, wooden benches and space for barbecue. After the visitors leave the car there and having passed the small waterfall, they must walk along the path for about 1 kilometer to face up this unique landscape of the lake. When reaching the waterfall, they can rest on wooden benches, but also to walk around the lake on the wooden platform that moves around the space.
