Kermia Beach
Kermia beach is located on the nature trail leading to the Sea Caves of Cavo Greko, at about six kilometers east of Ayia Napa in the Famagusta region of Cyprus.
Hidden from view by the palm trees, Kermia Beach, also known as Limnara, is located on the west side of the Cavo Greko Cape, in front of a large hotel complex. It is divided into smaller bays and is a small shore, with 350 meters long and 25 meters wide. Covered with fine sand, it has a rocky seabed and forms natural pools with sea water at its edges. In addition, the coast has been awarded with the Blue Flag for its clean waters.
As the last fully organized beach of Ayia Napa, Kermia beach is considered ideal for families with young children, for those who want to avoid the crowds, but also for hikers, as from there you can hike all the way to the tip of the cape or head east, towards the beaches of Mikri Ammos Kambouri and Megali Ammos Kambouri. There the visitor can engage in water sports or play volleyball in the suitable open space area under lifeguard protection, while nearby there are many accommodation facilities offered for rent, as well as restaurants and other recreational areas.
Access to Kermia beach is very easy by the main road leading to the Cavo Greco Cape. Alternatively, the visitor can walk along the coastal path that starts from the fishing port of Ayia Napa, for about 2 km.
