Giannades Beach
Giannades or Gianathes beach lies before the Dasaki Pylas beach near the village of Voroklini, and is approximately 17 km northeast from the center of Larnaca in the homonymous province of Cyprus.
Being part of the region of Dhekelia, Giannades beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag and is therefore flooded during the summer months by locals and tourists alike. It’s a large beach with little pebbles, and is ideal for snorkeling and diving since there are many reefs in the area making it a must for underwater exploration. Usually on Giannades beach you will find (among other things) the ideal conditions for sailing. During the summer months there is a small café-bar operating on the beach, offering strictly the necessary. There are also comprehensive life guard services provided. Most bathers enjoy the hiking path that leads from Giannades to other nearby beaches or simply enjoy the view sitting on the benches by the sea.
In the vicinity of the beach Giannades you will find a large water sports center, and many restaurants catering to every taste and budget.
Overlooking the city of Larnaca from afar, Giannades beach is easily accessible, since there is a sign warning the visitor that he has arrived to an organized shore and right next to it you will also find the beach Pyla.
