Gialias Beach
Gialias beach is about 2.5 kilometers north of the homonymous village in the Paphos region in Cyprus.
Being a huge pebbly beach of pristine beauty (about 10 km long and 25 meters wide), the Gialias beach begins almost from Polis to the west, and reaches all the way to the homonymous village, to the east. It is not organized at all, with only the various services offered by the luxury hotels and restaurants at some places.
Gialias beach, into which flows the homonymous river of the region, is considered as one of the most important beaches of the island, since it belongs to the network Natura 2000 of the European Union. Being one of the northern shores of the island, its clear waters are cold and the sea here deepens abruptly.
As a location that is ideal for walks on the beach, after enjoying the sea on Gialias beach, visitors can take a walk to the homonymous settlement, with the decrepit church, or to follow one of the nature trails that cross the region.
