Faros A Beach
Faros A Beach is located about 15 kilometers south of Larnaca, near the village of Pervolia in the region of Larnaca in Cyprus.
Awarded with the Blue Flag, Faros A Beach is one of the many beaches of Faros, and owes its name to the old lighthouse on the cape that stands at the end of the coastline (faros in Greek means lighthouse).
Overlooking the western end of Paphos, the large sandy bay of the beach Faros A Beach is almost hidden from view by the many bushes and some trees. It has quite deep waters, while in the sea there are some rocks, which are probably the reason for the rich seabed. Also, along the beach visitors can see the hair of Aphrodite or Paloura, a rare plant of the island.
Faros A Beach is generally preferred by vacationers who are looking for beaches smaller and quieter than the other crowded beaches of Larnaca, as it has only the necessary organization, i.e. a few umbrellas and sun loungers, as well as free parking for the public.
Starting from Faros A Beach you can walk all the way to the other beaches of Faros, Faros B Beach, Faros C Beach, Faros D Beach.
