Dasoudi Beach

Dasoudi beach can be found in Agios Athanasios in the Limassol region and is located about 6 km away from the heart of Limassol in the homonymous province of Cyprus.

Behind a small wooded area with many eucalyptus trees (hence the name dasoudi, with dasos meaning forest in Greek), which today serves as a parking space, you will find the Dasoudi beach or as it is otherwise called, CTO Dasoudi beach. It is the most popular waterfront of the city, with hundreds of locals choosing it for their daily exercise or in order to enjoy the tranquility of the sea.

Dasoudi beach is about 1 kilometer of golden sand and has clear water which nevertheless deepens abruptly in several places, while the specific area also presents very strong winds.

The well organized coastline of Dasoudi beach offers sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets, showers, changing rooms, diving and water sports facilities, a volleyball net, playground for families with children, an Olympic swimming pool as well as a bar-cafeteria. In the surrounding area one can find restaurants, taverns, cafes, bars and accommodation. From April to October there are lifeguards on duty, as well as a few facilities for the disabled.

Access to Dasoudi beach is easy by any means of transportation. In addition the beach is crossed by a nice bike path, and there is a bus stop nearby.
