Center of Environmental Information Pedoula

The Center of Environmental Information Pedoula is located in the homonymous village of Nicosia province in Cyprus. It was founded in 2005 by the municipal council on cooperation and assistance of the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus and the Ministry of Education and Culture.

One of the first centers of its kind funded by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, the Pedoulas Environmental Education Center is housed in the former primary school of the village. It highlights and promotes the local flora and fauna while it also informs visitors about environmental issues. In the premises there are basketball, handball and football courts as well as a chemistry laboratory.
