Camel Park in Mazotos

One of the most interesting and unusual activities for the visitor who will come to Mazotos in the Larnaca district of Cyprus is the Mazotos Camel Park, a complete leisure park for the whole family. An ideal destination for those looking for contact with animals and especially for those that are not easy to encounter otherwise, the Camel Park in Mazotos is a huge space that opened in 1998 and is a real escape from everyday life for both the young and the old.

The 15-minute walks on the camels along with experienced trainers and with absolute security in the specially designed areas of the park, give the visitor a scent of the orient, who also has the opportunity to feed the likeable animals with their favorite meze, the carob.

In addition to the camels and the peculiar safari, adults and children can see many other animals such as horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, ostriches, kangaroos, deer, lamas, pelicans, parrots and ducks and learn more about nature while having fun.

The Camel Park’s restaurant offers a wide range of cold and hot dishes, while refreshing cocktails are served in the pool, where the children can enjoy their dives. For those who so desire, it is possible to organize children’s parties, barbecues and group tours.

In the Camel Park in Mazotos there is also a small folk art museum, playground, games room, carts, trampoline, small aquarium, mirror room, flight simulator, 5D cinema, mini golf, souvenir shop, gifts’ shop and more.
