Apothikes Beach
The second largest beach of the village Kato Pyrgos Tillyrias of the Nicosia region in Cyprus (immediately after the Omega beach) is the Apothikes beach.
Apothikes beach owes its name (apothikes means warehouses in Greek) to the neighboring building dating back to 1927 that was used as a warehouse for agricultural products.
Although it is not one of the most famous summer destinations, a stone’s throw from the beach Apothikes you can find plenty of accommodation options to stay during your vacations, as well as several taverns, restaurants and coffee-bars, for those who prefer a more relaxing vacation and want to peacefully enjoy their time by the sea.
