Agios Georgios Alamanou Beach

The beach of Agios Georgios Alamanou is situated near the village Monagroulli and is approximately 25 kilometers from the city of Limassol in the homonymous province of Cyprus.

The coastline that starts from the beach Kalymnos and stretches towards the church of Agios Georgios Alamanou, all the way to the beach of Moni Lemesou, is the beach of Agios Georgios Alamanou.

With a length of approximately two kilometers, the beach of Agios Georgios Alamanou is unorganized and surrounded by many bays offering privacy to bathers and peaceful vacation moments. Also, the area is ideal for underwater explorations, since there are dozens of caves accessible only by sea. The closest cave, about 90 meters from the beach, is connected with the myth of the ancient kingdom of Amathus. According to the legend, when the pirates plundered the kingdom of Amathus, the queen took refuge there, along with all of her belongings.

Within walking distance from the beach Agios Georgios Alamanou are two taverns that apart from fresh fish, offer also various amenities to the visitors of the region.
