Adams beach (Latchi Beach)

Adams beach or Latchi beach as it is called by the “in” locals, is located in the Famagusta district of Cyprus. You will find it about 6 km west of Agia Napa.

Adams beach or Latchi beach, is named after the word “lakkos” of the Cypriot dialect, which stands for “little well”. Related names we encounter also in other provinces of the island.

The small bay of Adams beach, “hidden” behind clusters of trees, has shallow waters with a few stones in some places – access is easier via stairs that lead directly into the sea, and the beach is partly organized. Umbrellas and sun loungers are provided by the municipality, while for anything else you might need, there is a big hotel complex, in front of which lies the beach with a lifeguard tower.

A very quiet family beach, Adams beach does not resemble in any way the crowded beaches of Agia Napa, located within walking distance from it. Just a few meters away from Adams beach, you will find Nissi beach and a large park, suitable for picnics, as well as the water park of the region. There you will also find a large parking area.
