Cave of the Cyclops

The cave of the Cyclops is near the settlement of Paralimni in the Famagusta province of Cyprus, right after the Konnos beach and it is accessible by both land and sea.

The Cyclops cave is full of semi-enclosed tunnels, various geological formations, and fish of all kinds. Because of the vegetation and marine life it is ideal for advanced diving and the depths of the water range up to 25 meters.

The road to the cave is rough and an off road vehicle is needed although one can hike to it from the Konnos beach, following the 2.5 kilometers footpath. From there the entrance to the cave is easily accessible by going down 30 meters and dive in the sea.
