Baths of Adonis

Baths of Adonis, one of the natural attractions of Cyprus, is located in the village Koili, 15 kilemeters north of the homonymous capital of Paphos province.

Adonis, the apple of discord between the goddesses Aphrodite and Persephone, is honored until today in a location with deep gorges that with the passing of time and the corrosion of the rocks created a waterfall which falls in a small blue lake. Known to the locals as Maurokolympos, this lake is the Baths of Adonis which is in a private property and the entrance to visit and swim is 9 euros.
