I Love Ayia Napa

The sculpture I Love Ayia Napa is located in the heart of the homonymous town and at the entrance of the central square that houses many cafes, bars and the Medieval Monastery of Ayia Napa.

Being one of the busiest and most photographed cultural attractions of the place, it is the ultimate reference point for any tourist visiting Ayia Napa.

The I Love Ayia Napa sculpture is made of stone, of moderate size, and was created by the municipal authorities and brought to life by the sculptor Giannis Giannis in order to express one’s love for this town and to recall memories from that particular place of Cyprus.

During one’s visit to the Famagusta province and taking a stroll through the main streets of its “capital”, one is likely to see many tourists having fun and others waiting in front of I Love Ayia Napa for a photo-proof that they were once in the area.
