Marki

Marki or Margi is a suburb of Nicosia in Cyprus, situated about 25 km from the homonymous capital, 80 km from Limassol, 40 km from Larnaca and 150 km from Paphos.

In the past, Marki was a Maronite village, but it was later deserted. Today, there is the monastery of the Virgin Mary, which was once greatly celebrated by the Maronites of the region.
