Agios Thomas Lemesou

Agios Thomas Lemesou is one of the villages of the homonymous province in Cyprus and is situated 35 kilometers west of Limassol, 102 km west of Larnaca, 118 km southwest of Nicosia and 43 kilometers east of Paphos.

With approximately 50 residents and built at a high altitude, Agios Thomas Lemesou was previously a Turkish Cypriot settlement. After the Turkish invasion of 1974 and the exchange of populations, the village was inhabited by Greek Cypriot refugees from the northern, occupied Turkish parts of Cyprus – mainly from the Famagusta region.

The village is one of the small settlements of Cyprus, ideal for leisurely walks and for one to get a glimpse of the former Turkish Cypriot villages. West of the village there is a small cave which the Turkish Cypriot crypto-Christians of the community had turned into a church.

Agios Thomas Lemesou is located between the communities Platanisteia and Anogyra.
