Xistaria Beach
The beach Xistaria or beach de Costa is located in Protaras of the Famagusta district in Cyprus and is approximately 1.5 km on foot via the nature trail that connects it with the famous beach Fig Tree.
Most locals are not aware of the existence of the completely unorganized Xistaria or Xistarka beach, apart from those few that dock their small vessels on this shore. The Xistaria beach, so named because of the homonymous plant growing in the region, is a small picturesque bay hidden from view by the eucalyptus trees and has steep cliffs and clear water that is ideal for diving in the very interesting seabed.
When leaving Xistaria beach and heading to the main road, the visitor can find many cafes and restaurants or anything else you might need.
