Poseidon Beach
Poseidon Beach is the "natural" continuation of the beach of Agia Thekla in the Famagusta region of Cyprus. It is located to the west of Ayia Napa, at about 7 kilometers away.
The small beach Poseidon, which got its name from the tourist facilities in the area, is nestled among rocks, in a landscape reminiscent of a safari. It is considered as one of the most distant shores of the province, and while it may not enjoy the reputation of other beaches in the area, but it is still chosen by many – mostly those living or vacationing nearby, who prefer it for its relaxed atmosphere and the clean waters.
Poseidon Beach provides basic facilities for bathers, such as toilets, showers, sun beds and umbrellas, as well as a net for the beach volley enthusiasts. Next to the beach you will also find plenty parking spaces.
Near Poseidon Beach is situated the village of Sotiras, which is famous for the production of kolokasi (a type of sweet potato).
