Blue Lagoon Paphos
Blue Lagoon Paphos beach is located 50 km northwest of Paphos in the homonymous province of Cyprus, about 10 km from the port of Latchi and 15 km from Polis.
One of the most unexpected and beautiful excursions on Cyprus is the cove that is found in the depths of Akamas and which offers its visitors serenity and a sense of isolation. The waters at Blue Lagoon Paphos are crystal clear and warm and the landscape exotic. An unspoiled paradise of nature, a small strip of sand still pristine without umbrellas and sunbeds, a sea reminiscent of the Caribbean and a unique view of the opposite island Hamili. A natural border of rocks – ideal for diving, – delineates the sea around the beach giving the impression of a blue lake, which is worth exploring with a mask and wandering around the rich seabed. To the southeast of the beach emerges the mountaintop Moutti tis Sotiras, which is crossed by the Nature Trail Adonis and the Nature Trail Aphrodite.
Being one of the most famous beaches of the island, you will encounter Blue Lagoon Paphos on countless brochures and advertisements, creating the impression of a heaven on earth – with the reality meeting 100% the expectations of its visitors. Access to the beach by land is possible only by 4×4 vehicles, and the descent from the rocks is quite difficult. But you also have the option of the organized mini cruises that start from Latchi, Polis or the harbor of Kato Paphos, as well as organized safari groups, which cross the Akamas.
