Shipwreck White Star

The shipwreck White Star is located in Paphos province, a unique location for the diving enthusiasts who visit Cyprus.

The fishing boat from Russia which was known as ‘Ivana Ivanova’ was constructed in 1954 and it sunk near the port of Paphos on the 18 th of February 2007, as it was towed to Limassol for scraps.

Now the shipwreck White Star is on the rocky seabed, 14 to 18 meters below sea level and is 10 minutes by boat away from the port of Paphos. The shipwreck is now home to blackfish, breams and many other fish while the visibility reaches 20 meters. Diving to the shipwreck requires a certificate of open water (OW).
