Helicopter Wreck

The helicopter wreck is one of the many diving spots of Cyprus and it is located off the coast of Larnaca, near the Dhekelia area.

The underwater landscape created by the British army helicopter is accessible by boat about 15 minutes on the open waters and it is at a depth of 16 meters with an average visibility of 25 meters. The military helicopter was sunk in 1966 after it sustained some damage in an area with a lot of fishes and octopuses.

Diving in the helicopter wreck requires a certificate of advanced open water (AOW).
